<b>Saturday June 10<sup>th</sup> Honors Dinner</b>: Our Gala Committee, chaired by Bennett Heller did a stellar job at our June Honor’s dinner. We feasted on a great dinner prepared by the capable chef at La Dolche Vita Restaurant and had the distinct honor of presenting Ms Ruth Sipelstein with our Award Plaque. Also in attendance was Councilman Alan Maisel, who presented our officers with a beautiful Certificate of Honor. All in attendance agreed the entire event was a great success.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></div>

A Historic Degree Rally at Mineola Pacific Lodge.

We had four Odd Fellows lodges included in this degree rally: Mineola Pacific #125, Rockville Center #279, Borough Park #409 (Brooklyn) and Wawayanda Lodge #34 (Warwick). A great time was had by all, and our NYS Grand Secretary Thomas Buchanan noted that it was great to see new members moving up in the order. DDGM of Kings District Alan Reda stated ”Clarity and regal performances by all. I was honored to attend.” GREAT WORK BROTHERS! </div>

Brothers were dazzled by the singing of Brother Marty Kupferberg and his program "Best Love Songs of World War II" The songs come from Broadway and Film. Music by Jules Styne, Frank Loesser, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, Sammy <span style="color: black;">Cahn and other great songwriters </span>and lyricists of the World War II period. Brothers (and sisters) enjoyed the music with food and atmosphere. <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 14px;">The sublime sounds of the songs that took our soldiers away and brought our Boys back home again. Memories were re-kindled and all present had a great time.</span><br />
